Recently, while watching Everton v Sunderland in the FA Cup I was thinking how many ex-Man United players there were in both sides. It then got me thinking about all the former United players scattered around the premiership. So just out of interest, I wanted to see if I could make a starting eleven out of former red devils, including subs. I had to drop down to the championship to get Jonathan Greening – he did play in the Premier League for quite a few years with various sides so deserves a place in the squad. They line up in a 4-4-2 formation and would probably finish in the bottom half of the table if this was a real side. Can you think of any more ex-United players currently in the Premier League or a side made up of other former club players?
